Who can be partially incapacitated?

An adult may be partially legally incapacitated due to mental illness, mental retardation or other mental disorder, in particular alcoholism or drug addiction, if his condition does not justify him being fully legally incapacitated, but he requires assistance to manager his affairs (article 16 paragraph 1 of the Polish Civil Code).
